        Take-Away Points of the Presentation

        1. Tremor is a regular, oscillatory persistent movement that is fairly distinctive with respect to other movement disorders.

        2. It commonly accompanies other neurologic disorders.

        3. Parkinsonian tremor can be distinguished by several features.

        4. Deep brain stimulation or thalamotomy surgery could be recommended for tremor in a patient without significant cerebellar dysfunction.
