Take-Away Points of the Presentation
1) Lasers use specific wavelengths of light to selectively target a variety of common skin problems such as veins, brown sun spots, hair, and wrinkles.
2) Botulinum toxins block acetylcholine in the neuromuscular junction to weaken muscles and minimize dynamic wrinkles.
3) Fillers use a variety of relatively inert materials to fill in facial lines and folds and lift the skin.
4) A variety of new energy based devices are being used to non-invasively target fat for permanent removal.
