Chronic Kidney Disease for the Primary Care Physician

      

    Objectives of the Presentation

    Participants should be able to:

    • Explain the meaning of the serum creatinine and estimate of GFR.
    • Recognize the available strategies to slow progression of chronic kidney disease.
    • Review sequalae of chronic kidney disease and the important role that a primary care giver can play in management of these complex patients.

        3. Review conservative efforts to slow progression.
