Objectives of the Presentation
Participants should be able to:
- Learn the elements of a capacity assessment and how to apply these elements to a specific case.
- Understand the importance of decisional capacity for the legal analysis of medical interventions.
- Appreciate the relevance of capacity assessments to ethical considerations in the practice of medicine.
